Delaney Campaigns for New Hampshire Candidates in Third Visit to State
Delaney knocks on doors in Manchester and Nashua, attends house party in Walpole

WASHINGTON – Congressman John K. Delaney (MD-6) campaigned for local candidates in New Hampshire this weekend, knocking on doors, talking to voters and meeting with volunteers ahead of Tuesday’s general election. The trip was Delaney’s third visit to New Hampshire since he launched his presidential campaign.

On Saturday, Delaney kicked off GOTV weekend at a canvass launch in Manchester for Joyce Craig, Democratic candidate for mayor, where he spoke to volunteers about the importance of local elections.  Later on Saturday, over 50 local residents attended a meet-and-greet for Delaney in Walpole. On Sunday, Delaney traveled to Nashua to campaign for local alderman candidates, Shoshanna Kelly, Brandon Laws and Dave Tencza.

“There’s nothing like getting out there and knocking on doors and connecting with people. There was incredible energy behind local Democrats in Manchester and Nashua this weekend,” said Congressman Delaney. “Democratic candidates like Joyce Craig are connecting with voters by talking about the things people really care about – good jobs, good schools for their kids and safe neighborhoods with a good quality of life. Elections really matter and I am confident that we’ll keep the momentum going all the way to victory tomorrow night.”

Delaney will headline the New Hampshire Democratic Party’s Kennedy-Clinton Dinner in Hollis on November 17.
