Photos from the road: Ames, Madrid, Churdan

John sat for an interview with KIOH, did a Q&A with Boone County Democrats in Madrid (pronounced Maaah-drid!), and hosted the Greene County Democrats Irish Potato Soup Supper in Churdan.

Greetings from Fort Dodge, Iowa. We had two great public events today during John’s 25th visit to our state. After an interview with community radio station KIOH, we headed to Madrid for a meet and greet with Democrats in Boone County, then northwest to Churdan where John hosted the annual Irish Potato Soup supper put on by the Greene County Democratic Party. As the grandson of an Irish immigrant, there was no candidate more suited for this job.

The Iowa Caucuses are won by the people who go town by town, answer tough question after tough question, and ask for support voter by voter. I’ve seen it done before and I’m seeing John do it now.

Keep checking in with our blog for some video from John’s Q&A in Madrid. He got great questions on taxes, health care, education, and more, and this will be the place to find them.
